Sleeping entwined with another is a novel concept, but there’s always the problem of that extra arm. Where does one put it? Mehdi Mojtabvi’s Love Mattress offers a simple solution for the chronic limp arm that often results from sleeping while wrapped in a prolonged embrace.

Mojtabvi has studied the embracing styles of couples while in bed and has confirmed what we all know — that having your arm flattened under your partner’s body for prolonged periods of cuddling isn’t exactly comfortable. What’s more, it may even prove detrimental to your health! Technically speaking, it puts abnormal pressure on the muscles, blood vessels and nerves, and over time can result in a condition termed “radial neuropathy,” whose symptoms include weakness in wrist dorsiflexion and finger extension. Finally, an answer to this age-old predicament has arrived! Winner of the red dot design concept award in 2007, the idea of the Love Mattress is simple: A solid unit makes up the middle portion of the bed, with several adjoining strips of foam connected at either end. Between these slats one can drop their shoulder or arm, allowing for a much more comfortable sleeping position while remaining all snuggled up.

Each polyurethane-injected foam strip is covered with a smooth fabric which allows for easy sliding, and after assembly the whole mattress can be covered with a standard bed linen. Not only is it good for sharing with another, but it also works for other positions, like stomach sleeping, where you can let your foot dip into the gaps.

So, say goodbye to that slack arm. Right now it’s still only a concept, but if the Love Mattress hits production mode you’ll be good to go for hours of fine spooning action.

Ever since I started living with my boyfriend I’ve caught him masturbating. At the beginning he would watch porno and masturbate, I told him this really upset me and he said that he wouldn’t do it again. He also eventually got rid of all the porno.

Keira Knightley says she doesn’t want to get a reputation for taking her clothes off in movies.

The stunning Atonement actress is quickly becoming known for her willingness to bare all in films, but insists it wasn’t a conscious decision.

She told US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres: “I don’t know why it happened this way. People ask me to pose naked and I just say yes! I find it vaguely liberating.

“I hope I don’t become a nudist, but I’m definitely on my way!”

When she does wear period costumes in her films, Keira, who can soon be seen in the drama The Duchess, still finds it difficult to breathe in stomach-restraining corsets.

She laughed, “At the end of the day, it took me 10 minutes to learn to breathe normally.” Meanwhile, the actress has stripped to the bare essentials once more for a magazine photo shoot. Knightley, posing in just knickers and black stilettos, looks stunningly curvaceous. The seductive shots, for the January issue of a magazine, were taken by celebrated photographer Sam Taylor-Wood, who was responsible for persuading Keira to lose the corsets.

One image, where she arches her back seductively, half-balancing on a chair, appears to have been arranged just to accentuate her curves.
In another shot, Keira’s top half is naked apart from a pair of black braces and long black gloves. In both images, Miss Knightley, of course, mouths that ever-present pout.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is currently the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive street-legal full production car in the world, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h (407.5 km/h or 253.2 mph), though several faster or more expensive vehicles have been produced on a limited basis.

It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS in its Molsheim (Alsace, France) factory and is sold under the legendary Italian/French Bugatti marque.

A Burlington-based cosmetic laser manufacturer and the Gillette Co. have delayed the launch of a new product to accommodate further negotiation between the companies.

Palomar Medical Technologies Inc., a researcher and developer of light-based systems for cosmetic treatments, and Gillette have agreed to delay scheduling the launch of an in-home, light-based hair removal device for women until no later than Feb. 29, 2008. Under the agreement, Gillette had until Monday, Jan. 7, 2008 to schedule the launch. Until then, the companies will negotiate a new agreement that may include the release of Palomar from exclusivity and the retention by Gillette of non-exclusive rights to Palomar’s technology and intellectual property, according to Palomar. In return for a release from exclusivity, Palomar said it anticipates a reduction in the percentage of net sales that Gillette pays to Palomar and a change from annual payments under the existing agreement to reduced calendar quarterly payments for a certain period.
