The 12 A.M. to 8 A.M. Room

If you want to create romance in your relationship, the bedroom is the place to start. The first step is to eliminate all activities in that room except for sex and sleeping. Too often, people make the bedroom a multipurpose room. The bedroom is used for many things that have nothing to do with romance, such as exercising, office work, paying bills, or storage.

Look around your bedroom and take inventory of all of the things that might be distracting to love. These items cause anxiety or stress when you see them. Take Steve for example; when he looked around his room, he saw his weight bench, the classified ads to find a new job, and his list of things to do. Each time he saw one of these things, his mind was instantly filled with stress. Steve isn’t different than the average person. He uses his bedroom for things other than relaxing activities that are conducive to romance.

Shouldn’t your bedroom cause stimulation and cravings? If so, the last thing you want is for your bedroom to be a stress trigger. It’s time to take action by taking inventory. Look around your room and move everything out unless it is a romance enhancer. Before you know it, you will have more passion between the sheets than you have time to enjoy.
