With lasers fast becoming an important part of the personal care industry, US company Lexington International has just announced that its hair growth laser has been granted FDA approval.

Although lasers have been more closely associated with hair removal in the past, the company claims that clinical tests have proved its HairMax LaserComb can promote hair growth in males with androgenetic alopecia.

Now those claims have been given further credence after the FDA gave clearance for the product - a feat that has only been given to two other products marketed to combat hair loss. (Read the article)
