Estella Warren was born to an elementary school principal mother and a used-car
salesman father. A professional swimmer, Estella moved to Toronto at the
age of 12 to train with the national synchronized swimming team.
In 1996, a change
in career paths whisked Estella from chlorine filled waters to designer
catwalks. She participated in a high school fashion show, and photos of
Estella were sent to a New York modeling agent. Next thing she knew, she
was doing photo shoots with professional fashion photographer Ellen von
Unwerth, and posing for Italian Vogue.
